about us

The Poppy Collective grew out of a lifelong bond, and a shared belief that people deserve spaces where they feel safe, supported, and free to be exactly who they are. Together, we bring warmth, trust, and deep care into everything we offer, and we're so happy you found us!

Welcome to the Poppy Collective! We’re Eliana and Alexandra. We’ve been best friends for over fifteen years and are both certified yoga teachers. We met in seventh grade, and years later found ourselves moving to California together, still deeply connected by our friendship, shared values, a love of nature, yoga, and a shared commitment to creating community.

Hi, I’m Eliana, better known as Ellie. Yoga has been part of my life since I was a teenager, but it was always children who pulled me in most naturally. I love the way kids move, imagine, and feel so fully, and I believe they deserve spaces where all of that is welcomed.

I’ve been a 300 hour certified yoga teacher for over a decade, with a background in child and adolescent mental health from NYU, and I’m currently training in trauma-informed mindfulness and yoga for kids through Little Flower Yoga. My teaching style is gentle, playful, and rooted in nervous-system awareness.

I aim to create classes where kids feel safe to explore their bodies, express emotions, and rest without any pressure to perform, and I serve as the facilitator of our poppy seed workshops, our yoga and mindfulness offerings for kids.

alexandra green silver - root & bloom facilitator

Hi! I’m Alexandra, or Alex, and I’m excited to bring some deep breaths, and big ideas to the Poppy Collective community.

I’ve spent the past two years teaching movement and meditation across Los Angeles. As a certified teacher with training in trauma-informed care and de-escalation, I’m passionate about helping students feel safe, confident, and at home in their bodies. My classes are playful, imaginative, and rooted in nervous system awareness. I strive to create spaces where people can move, feel, and be themselves.

I’m excited about encouraging curiosity around movement, nature, and connection, with lots of room for play. All feelings are welcome here, and I’m grateful to serve as the facilitator of our adult root & bloom workshops at the Poppy Collective

What began as a passion project has evolved into something more. We’re proud of where we’ve been and even more excited for what’s ahead.

What sets us apart isn’t just our process—it’s the intention behind it. We take time to understand, explore, and create with purpose at every turn.
